Spavaldo has moved cows, crossed water and bridges, and seen the sights of trails with no spook and an easygoing attitude. He is a point-and-shoot jumper and could pack green riders who want to learn the ropes of horse showing and riding. He bridles beautifully in the arena and has been ridden in the mountains on rough terrain. He rides out alone, does well with time off, and has been used to teach lessons.
