Donkey Mare for Sale in Tulsa, OK
Hey everyone! My mom has 3 donkeys for sale. My dad passed away last year and they were his pets. The Jack and Jenny, we would like to keep together if possible, are very gentle and about 5 or 6 years old (we think). The baby was born June 2023. She's a little more skittish, as she was born after we lost my dad and he was the one to handle them all the time. My mom is not an animal person, but she has kept them well fed. They have not had any shots in the past year, but dad always kept them current before that. The Jenny & Jake had been in the same pasture/barn area with the 4 cows dad had and they got along together with no problems. The baby was born after we sold those. If you have any questions you can leave me a message. We don't know how to price them, so we are going with $1000 for all 3. If this is not a reasonable price, please make us an offer. About Tulsa, OK
The area where Tulsa now exists was considered Indian Territory when it was first formally settled by the Lochapoka and Creek tribes in 1836. They established a small settlement under the Creek Council Oak Tree at the present day intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and 18th Street. This area and this tree reminded Chief Tukabahchi and his small group of the Trail of Tears survivors of the bend in the river and their previous Creek Council Oak Tree back in the Talisi, Alabama area. They named their new settlement Tallasi, meaning "old town" in the Creek language, which later became "Tulsa". The area around Tulsa was also settled by members of the other so-called " Five Civilized Tribes" who had been relocated to Oklahoma from the Southern United States.
