Pony of the Americas Gelding for Sale in Lancaster, PA
Check out Cheesecake, or known around the barn as “Cheesie”!
This guy is...
5/6 years old
40” at the wither
Rides as well as drives
Kind with no buck, rear, bite, kick, bolt, etc.
More who then go under saddle.
Rides in a simple snaffle, traffic safe and good with dogs and other horses.
No founder, laminitis or colic history. Picks up all four feet with a gentle touch.
With that being said, Cheesie boy would do best with a horse crazy kiddo (or adult/family) that wants to spend time with him. He can be a little shy on the ground and flinches if you come at his head too fast. But after some sweet talking and petting he relaxes and lets you do anything you’d like to him.
However, he wants to be your friend and wants to do and be good! He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He can live inside or outside, and gets along well with mares and geldings.
At this point in time, I wouldn’t say he would be suitable for a toddler to handle. But a horse crazy kid who knows the basics of handling horses will steal his heart in a New York second.

About Lancaster, PA
Originally called Hickory Town, the city was renamed after the English city of Lancaster by native John Wright. Its symbol, the red rose, is from the House of Lancaster. Lancaster was part of the 1681 Penn's Woods Charter of William Penn, and was laid out by James Hamilton in 1734. It was incorporated as a borough in 1742 and incorporated as a city in 1818. During the American Revolution, Lancaster was the capital of the United States for one day, on September 27, 1777, after the Continental Congress fled Philadelphia, which had been captured by the British.
