Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Weatherford, TX
KROS KRIP... If you have been searching for missing piece of your family, look no further! “Suede” is a 9 yr old sturdy 15.2 Grulla AQHA gelding with absolutely unmatched eye appeal that will get you noticed anywhere you go! Plenty of size, bone and foot to handle any rider and terrain to boot! Suede was raised on the same ranch he spent his entire life predominantly trail riding. However, make no mistake this guy has seen the bright lights of the city riding through town, spent late nights at roping pens watching all the fun and chaos, and has been hauled to various arenas across the state. Suede has the been there-done that mentality that makes every ride so enjoyable and stress-free. He will pick up and go when asked but prefers a pleasant speed of a walk or his silky smooth jog. He has lovingly chauffeured the two little boys he was raised with around their front yard, bareback and clambering through his legs, as well as casual Sunday family rides, thats’s when they could steal him from dad who was checking cattle and riding fences, of course! Suede crosses logs, water, ditches, mud bogs, and steep banks with ease and confidence. Does not have a spooky, flighty nature and has the most affectionate, willing-to-please attitude you will ever come across. We have never been around a horse who is so excited to see you every single day! If you have any questions call Jordan Brown 502-565-6621

About Weatherford, TX
In 1854, Methodist Reverend Pleasant Tackett led 15 pioneer families into a land they called " Goshen," which would later become part of Parker County, itself to be created the following year by the efforts of State Representative Isaac Parker and State Senator Thomas Jefferson Weatherford in the Texas State Legislature. [a] Evidence of a prior, failed attempt to colonize the region can be found in the abandoned cabin from 1852-53 located 6 miles (9.7 km) south of modern Weatherford on the J.H. Voorhies farm. In 1856 The railroad arrived in June 1880. The Santa Fe Depot (which houses the Weatherford Chamber of Commerce) was built in 1908 under Jim Crow laws, with waiting rooms segregated and separated by the ticket office.
