Caspian- Andalusian Gelding

Caspian is the striking black baroque horse of many people’s fantasies. This lovely gelding has had many years as a dancing partner with Alta Escuela training from his previous owner who kept the horse just for his son. Now with his second owner, he is currently being used as a trail horse for both beginners and experienced riders. He would benefit from someone who is kind but can still provide leadership when needed. He does ride out on the trail alone but occasionally exhibits insecurities when not buddied up. If you enjoy group rides or have a need to pony, this handsome horse will be sure to impress. He prefers to be a follower, but can definitely be a leader if asked. This guy even ponies a 5 year old on occasion! He has had extensive exposure- from parades and parties in the street to more rural and rugged mountain terrain (although he is not quite mountain goat material). Caspian loves water and has great ground manners. He is incredibly tolerant of youthful energy and has been nothing short of a delight. No history of lameness, colic, or illness.
