Appaloosa Gelding for Sale in Glasgow, KY

This sweet fun guy is "Mouse", who gets his name from "Lonesome Dove". He is a handsome grade Appaloosa gelding that is looking for his confident best friend rider. Mouse is 14 years young experienced trail horse. Standing at 14.1 hands, the perfect size to easily mount. He is big enough to carry a small adult rider, with the motor of a big horse. Once an 11yr old girls Barrel Horse, and then a 5yr old little boys 1st horse till he outgrew him at 10yrs. He has been roped off of, worked cattle (not great at it, but he tries), extensive hours on trails, will go anywhere you point him, over water, and up and down hills. When Mouse trusts you, you can do anything with this sweet boy. He is very gentle, and eager to please. Has not offered to bite, kick or buck. Mouse has been ridden bare back and Western by little ones. Little ones can even stand on him. He stands to be bathed, groomed, tacked, cross tied, leads, loads in and out of the trailer, easy keeper, no vices, low man on the totem pole, gets along with other horses, dogs, chickens, cattle, stands for the Ferrier, has been shod before is currently bare foot, amazing easy to keep feet, stands to be mounted, and will stand patiently tied when asked to do so. Mouse is not a "dead head", he is fun and has some motor to him. He has been ridden by many unexperienced riders, just needs them to be confident. He just got his teeth floated, sheath cleaned, and wormed. He has great manners and stood perfect for the Vet. Coggins are in hand and a Health Certificate. Please call if you think you might be the right family for this sweet fun boy. God bless.
