Madison is a stunning Palomino with dapples head to toe. She is about picture perfect in my opinion. We had the opportunity to purchase Madison back in the summer off a super sweet family from the Pan Handle area of WV. She had been the wife’s personal trail horse for the last 5 years. She and her husband traveled all over America trail riding until this past year when her husban came down sick. Due to that they were forced to put horses on the backburner. Madison is a been there done that horse and it shows in every aspect of her. She is super easy to catch, handle, groom and mess with. She tacks up quietly and is always completely still when mounting. Rides off super quietly at a walk on a loose rein. Madison is the absolute definition of a smooth gaited horse. She is so smooth you feel like you are just gliding along on her back. You guys with bad backs she is exactly what you want. NO side to side movement or up and down. Madison can move on down the road but don’t let that fool you she is completely happy with just flopping along at a dog walk. Makes no difference to her. She will ride front back or middle of a group with no trouble. Rides out from the barn with or without company. She is a fantastic trail horse and very smart. She can take you anywhere you want to go safely. Very sure footed and pays close attention to where she is stepping. She crosses all types of water, fallen trees, slippery rocks and rough terrain all with ease. She is traffic and atv safe. Good around livestock and wildlife as well.
