Warmblood Mare for Lease in Hendersonville, NC

Sami is a very beautiful, sweet, hard working, smart, and talented mare who needs a lessor who is fair and kind. She is classically trained up to second level dressage. She has jumped around 2'9 in arena and on the cross country field, and she has scope to go much higher with training. She is not a push button horse, but she is an excellent partner, and would therefore be best suited for an intermediate rider who wants to improve with her. She has had lessors from the age of 13 to 45, so age is not an important factor, but ability to listen and learn is. I am a Graduate student who doesn't have the time to work with her as much as she deserves so I am looking for a 1-5 day lease for $300 obo. Located at Shoal Creek Stables, which offers access to several hundred miles of trails in Dupont, one covered arena, and one outdoor arena. Contact me for more information.

About Hendersonville, NC

Judge Mitchell King owned 1,000 acres (4.0 km 2), of which he donated 50 acres for the establishment of the town of Hendersonville. His slaves laid out its 100-foot-wide (30 m) Main Street. Chartered in 1847 as the county seat of Henderson County (formed 1838), Hendersonville is traditionally known as "The City of Four Seasons". The town has a well-preserved Main Street and adjoining downtown areas with many restaurants, antique shops and boutiques in buildings that housed key local businesses until the mid-1980s. Its architecture reflects the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
