Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Sandy, OR
2006 unregistered quarter horse is the horse you want. He's fast and needs some work but all in all he's a great horse. Stands for baths, clipping, and shoes. Lunges both directions, walk trot and canter under saddle (needs work on leads), has a pretty good stop on him, backing needs some work but pretty solid, picks up all 4 hooves for cleaning and trimming he needs to get his teeth floated too. I've been working on some gaming patters with him so he has a little experience in that and also with jumping. He came from Hermiston auction in 2016 his only vet records is the auction vet. I will keep riding him and working him until the day he leaves. Please email me if you have any questions

About Sandy, OR
Sandy was founded after pioneer Sam Barlow passed through the area in 1845 and formed Barlow Road, the most widely-used final portion of the Oregon Trail. The first people to settle the area were Francis and Lydia Revenue, c. 1853. The abundance of natural resources in the area, ranging from fish, deer, elk, berries and roots, attracted them to build a homestead and trading post. Around 1873, the Revenues built the city's first hotel.
