Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Loleta, CA
Offered for Sale
First Class Charm "Ruby" is a 2005 AQHA mare by the stallion First Class Gold. Ruby stands a stout 15.3. She was originally started by Cameron Moore as a 3 year old and since has been out on miles and miles of trails and has done one gymkhana. She has been trailered a ton. This sweet mare is a lot of horse and has a lot of go and forward. She really walks out on trails and will go all day long. Still energetic after 20 miles, might make a great endurance horse. She'll go anywhere you ask. She neck reins great, walk trot lope, picks up her shoulder, moves off your leg, and has had a rope swung off her. Shes been exposed to cattle. She's gentle and easy to handle but she's not for a beginner rider. She could be a good prospect for gaming, barrels or roping but would need a confident rider to take their time going slow with her to build her confidence. Located in Loleta, Ca. Asking $3500 to approved home only. Call or Text Tessa at Zion Riding Academy at (707) 496-9466 for more info or to set up a time to meet her.
About Loleta, CA
European settlement began in the early 1850s although Wiyot people had inhabited the area for generations. Potato farming was the biggest agricultural use of land until the 1870s, when depleted soil and declining prices caused a turn to dairying. The town was originally known as Swauger or Swauger's Station, for local landowner Samuel A. Swauger. The town was renamed Loleta in 1897.
