Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Grand Junction, CO
7 year old 16 hand grade mare. Shes got quite a bit of Spunk so not a beginners horse. She is sound, she has a big scar on her front left shoulder, but doesn't affect her. I've had her out on the trails and she's not spooky. Hasn't been around cows. She does great with other horses or alone. She can be a little hard to catch if shes in the pasture with a horse that likes to run but once she's caught she's great. Will load into trailers just fine. Stands for the ferrier. She tends to be a little shy about her back feet. But won't kick. She doesn't offer to buck, unless you spur her, she goes with barely taping her sides. Asking 1,200$ call Sierra for more info and pictures. 970-231-2062

About Grand Junction, CO
In September 1881 the former Ute Indian Territory was abolished and the Utes forced into a reservation so that the U.S. government could open the area to white settlers. Clinton County, Pennsylvania-born George Addison Crawford (1827–91) soon purchased a plot of land. On July 22, 1882, he incorporated the town of Grand Junction and planted Colorado's first vineyard near Palisade, Colorado, causing the area to become known as the Colorado Wine Country. Grand Junction also has a storied past with gunfighters, miners, and early settlers of the American Southwest.
