Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Ortonville, MI
Silvey is a been there, done that 16 yr old registered Quarter Horse
gelding. He has been a part of my family for 12 years. He excels best
in western, but is cute in huntseat and still places in the top 3. He
is a showmanship machine. He will sidepass and go over any obstacle for
trail. Silvey is about 15-15. 1 Hands and has an easy - going, laid
back temperament. Silvey's sire has ROM in Halter and is Halter and
Performance Horse Point Earner. Silvey has been double tested HYPP N /
N. I used him for equestrian team for 4 years and he is still being
used with other kids. He was shown for 6 years at the 4H fair. My 5
year old niece competed at the 2012 fair with Silvey in SMS and w /
t and did fantastic! Silvey loves kids and will take care of them. Has
been around farm machinery, cattle, all types of birds, tarps, and all
sorts of odd n end things. He does not require training equipment, but
I will throw a training fork on him from time to time. He is UTD on all
vaccines and wormer. He has very tender feet and should stay shoed on all
4 when riding. During off season, he goes barefoot. Bathes and clips like
a champ and will load himself into the trailer! He stands great in the
trailer, no pawing / dancing. DOES NOT require a twitch to clip ears. No
bad habits in pasture or stall. He does have to be separated from the
other horses as he was not introduced until late. Email for pics or more
