Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in White Plains, KY
This is a registered gelding. He is easy going and is the perfect
horse for beginners, lessons, trails, or show. He has a nice gentle
lazy disposition. Happy is Western Pleasure bred. He has been HYPP
tested and is N / N. He has new shoes and coggins. He is ready to
go to work. He has a nice neckrein, backup and easy smooth gaits.
This is the horse we always put the first timers on. He has no bite,
buck, or spook. He does have to be shod on the front. This is due to the
farrier trimming him to close. Can be kept in a pasture or stalled. He
loads easy and is great for the farrier. Stands for mounting and waits
quietly while talking. This is just a good quiet horse. Husband safe.
About White Plains, KY
White Plains was established in 1853, and was originally known as "Little Prairie." With the arrival of the railroad in 1870, Little Prairie became the shipping point for a community then known as "White Plains" (modern Fruit Hill) further to the south in Christian County, and thus became known as "White Plains Station," or "New White Plains." When the postmaster of the Christian County community renamed it "Fruit Hill," the "New" was dropped from the name of the Hopkins County city.
