Kentucky Mountain Mare for Sale in Black Canyon City, AZ
Reg. Strawberry Roan Gaited Kmhsa / Kngha Mare
Marie is a beautiful double registered (Ky Mtn Saddle Horse Assn,
Ky Natural Gaited Horse Assn) 15. 1h sorrel sabino mare with a pure
white mane and tail. Her gentle, sweet temperment and extensive trail
experience make her perfect for nearly any level of rider. Wonderfully
gaited, she's a joy to ride but she can flat walk to trailride with non -
gaited horses too. She goes everywhere and does everything. She comes
with a free breeding to my gorgeous Kmhsa stud so don't let this 2-
in -1 slip away. Recently vetted, wormed, and shod - she's ready to
hit the trails! Email me at hartja***@yahoo. com or call 623- 760-
6559 for more info. The ranch has sold so I need to find a good home
for this wonderful horse asap.

About Black Canyon City, AZ
Black Canyon City has been known by several names in the past, including Goddard or Goddards, Cañon, and Black Canyon. Goddard's was a stage stop on the Phoenix to Prescott line, a military stopover en route to Fort Whipple and Fort Verde during Territorial days, and a supply center for mines in the southern Bradshaw Mountains. The area was first settled by people of Anglo-European origin in the 1870s, and the first post office was established as Cañon in May 1894, with postmaster Charles E. Goddard, and was discontinued in October 1899. It was reestablished again from February 1903 to November 1906.
