Appaloosa Mare for Sale in Dothan, AL
Jaida is a sweet mare that loves everyone. When we aquired her as part
of a herd buy - out she had only been a broodmare. She now leads well,
loves kids, will follow you like a puppy, & has been saddled. We haven't
ridden her yet but she doesn't mind weight put on her. She is in with
our Appy stallion so may be bred by the time she sells. I don't want to
sell her but we have too many horses. If some of the others sell first,
she will no longer be available. Email for more info & pictures.

About Dothan, AL
The area that is now Dothan was inhabited for thousands of years by successive cultures of indigenous peoples. In historic times it was occupied by the Alabama and Creek Native American tribes who were hunters and gatherers in the vast forests of pine that covered this region. These tribes had developed complex cultures, and often used to meet and camp for trading near a large spring at the crossroads of two trails. Between 1763 and 1783, the region that is now Dothan was part of the colony of British West Florida. European-American settlers moving through the area during the late 18th and early 19th centuries discovered the Indian spring, naming it "Poplar Head".
