Paint Stallion at Stud in Gilbert, AZ

Utes Barode Gun is a 2003 breeding stock palomino / dunalino. Gunners background is loaded with buckskins, duns, palominos and grullos which makes me believe he should be a good producer for those awesome colors. His sire is a grullo and his dam is a red dun overo. When he sheds out in the summer time he does have the dun barring on his legs. He has a wonderful disposition to top it off. His first foal will be on the ground April 06' out of my blue roan mare. Should make an interesting color. Gunner has been shown once in a halter class at a County Fair and took 2 nd in the class. His show career is cut short due to an injury but he can still pass on his wonderful traits, dispostion and color. Introductory fee for 2006 is $250 which includes a $50 booking fee. ~~~~

About Gilbert, AZ

Gilbert owes its beginnings to William "Bobby" Gilbert who provided land to the Arizona Eastern Railway in 1902 to construct a rail line between Phoenix and Florence, Arizona. Ayer's Grocery Store, the first store in Gilbert, opened in 1910 and became the location of the first post office in 1912. The location of the town post office moved several times before settling on the east side of Gilbert Road in downtown, where it still stands today. In 1912, many Mormons who had fled the Mormon colonies in Mexico due to the actions of the forces of Pancho Villa settled in Gilbert. By 1915, they began holding church meetings at the Gilbert Elementary School.
