Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Fort Collins, CO
Tia has been an excellent broodmare throwing large and correct foals (3 Palomino fillies out of 5 foals) She seemed so jealous of the riding horses this spring, that we just started riding her! Needs to go to a home with lots of turnout, riding and attention as she loves to be fussed with. Clips, bathes, hauls, and is current on all shots, deworming and with the farrier. Tia is not a beginners horse as she is stilll green under saddle, but she is perfect for a more seasoned rider of any age to finnish the way they like. Please call for more info (970) 988-2***4.
About Fort Collins, CO
Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
