Paint Stallion for Sale in Tellico Plains, TN

For Sale 2003 Buckskin Stallion. A Little Bit Tardy. Excellent conformation. Very gentle. Good bloodlines. Has been saddled and worked in a round pen many times. Will be ready to start being rode this Fall. Loads, ties. He is a very unique color. Golden buckskin, with gray mixed into his black mane and tail. In the winter time he dapples out. I have his half sister and mother. His half sis is the stocky bull dog type. I think he will look like her. He is easy to catch in the pasture and doesn't fuss when leaving other horses. I think unless you want to keep him a stud he would be a good kid horse. You can call me and I will mail you pics of him.

About Tellico Plains, TN

The area along the Tellico River was inhabited for thousands of years by indigenous peoples. The historic Muscogee settled here, before moving further south. In the late 18th century, the Cherokee settled in this area, displaced from the east and north by European colonial encroachment. Tellico Plains occupies the former site of the Cherokee town of Great Tellico, which was one of the more important towns of the Overhill Cherokee during the late 18th century and before Indian Removal of the 1830s. Two important Native American trails met at Great Tellico, the Trading Path and the Warrior Path, which connected farflung communities.
