Cariad is a 3 year old 16. 1h and growing bright bay gelding with loads of potential. He has started under saddle and is eager to please and a joy to work with. He is a true gentleman and thrives on attention. He loads and bathes and has no bad stall habits. He is sound, has beautiful conformation and would be an attention getter in the show ring. Cariad has free jumped 2'9" and could easily go all the way to working hunter. Sadly, his owner will not be able to ride for 6 months to 1 year after undergoing back surgery and doesn't want to hold this talented young horse back for that period of time. Pitkin is a census-designated place (CDP) in Vernon Parish, Louisiana, United States. Pitkin is approximately 40 miles (64 km) southeast of Leesville, the parish seat. Pitkin is approximately 45 miles (72 km) southwest of the city of Alexandria and about 150 miles (240 km) due west of the Louisiana State Penitentiary (LSP, also known as Angola) in West Feliciana Parish. As of the 2010 census, the CDP's population was 576. James Ridgeway of Mother Jones said that the Pitkin area had 1,965 residents.
