Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Dover, NH
It doesn't get better than this for a young horse! Beautiful bay with a perfect star. Absolutely sweet and adorable. Gracie is a fast learner and great prospect. Still green but well started under saddle, she is soft, willing and has a great rhythm in her gaits. Easy WTC, goes on a loose rein and gets her leads. Started over fences and willingly jumps 2'3" - no stops and doesn't rush. Started dressage work and picked it up very quickly. She will make a fantastic hunter and a favorite pet. Clips and bathes - great for farrier and vet. Super sweet to work with and no vices. Not spooky - fine with farm equipment, vehicles, kids and dogs. Call or email for more info. Gracie is quiet enough to be used in our lesson program and she loves it! Can be seen at Winning Ways Stable - www. WinningWaysStable. com.
About Dover, NH
The first known European to explore the region was Martin Pring from Bristol, England, in 1603. In 1623, William and Edward Hilton settled Cochecho Plantation, adopting its Abenaki name, making Dover the oldest permanent settlement in New Hampshire, and seventh in the United States. One of the colony's four original townships, it then included Durham, Madbury, Newington, Lee, Somersworth and Rollinsford. The Hiltons' name survives at Hilton Park on Dover Point (which was originally known as Hilton Point), where the brothers settled near the confluence of the Bellamy and Piscataqua rivers. They were fishmongers sent from London by The Company of Laconia to establish a colony and fishery on the Piscataqua.
