American Warmblood Mare for Sale in Fayetteville, AR

Rainmaker is a a 16 H, black bay TB / Percheron cross, temp. reg. as an American Warmblood. This exceptionally tempered mare is in foal for April 2006 to a 1 st premium keured Fresian named WARLOCK (now standing in NM, USA) . "Rainey" has been competed by a former owner in Combined Training, Open Jumper AND has been foxhunted. She has very smooth gaits with tons of extension and reach. Her ground manners are very good and she is also at home in a pasture situation. Her conformation is classic Warmblood, with a bit more refinement to her lovely head and large, expressive eye. She will come at a gallop when called in from the pasture. She is 100% sound and has been ultrasounded as in foal. With her stunning color, bone, movement and conformation, this foal should be classic Fresian with the added substance of the American Warmblood!

About Fayetteville, AR

In 1828, George McGarrah settled at Big Spring with his family on the modern day corner of Spring and Willow, founding the town of Washington, and starting work on the courthouse. On October 17, Washington County was established, Washington chosen as the county seat. The Washington Courthouse was finished in 1829, and also contained the post office. Later in the year Postmaster Larkin Newton changed the name to the Fayetteville Courthouse, to avoid confusing with Washington, Hempstead County. Two councilmen selected to name the city were from Fayetteville, Tennessee, which was itself named for Fayetteville, North Carolina (where some of its earliest residents had lived before moving to Tennessee).
