Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Kodiak, AK
Cloudy is a gorgeous young, energetic, loving horse. She has been in rodeos, shows, 4- H, parades and loves every minute of it. She has so much more potential and can go further than she already has. She needs a owner who will give her the attention she needs, preferably a intermediate rider. She is good with kids. She bathes, ties, trailors, and is upto date on shots and wormers. She had gotten the highest ribbon in her western pleasure class and second highest in her jumping class. She has won money in rodeos and is ready to do much more. Cloudy had a beautiful foal in 2003, and will definetly throw more gorgeous foals. She has great conformation. Im asking $2500 OBO or Im willing to do a trade. If you have any questions or want more information or pictures feel free to call or email me.
About Kodiak, AK
Archaeological evidence suggests that the Kodiak Archipelago has been home to the Alutiiq for at least 7,000 years. In their language, qikertaq means "island". In 1763, the Russian explorer Stephan Glotov discovered the island, calling it Kad’yak ( Кадьяк). He was followed by the British captain James Cook fifteen years later, who first recorded "Kodiak" in his journals in 1778. In 1792, the Russian Shelikhov-Golikov Company chief manager Alexander Baranov moved the post at Three Saints Bay (established in 1784) to a new site in Paul's Harbor ( Свято-Павловской гавани, Svyato-Pavlovskoy Gavani).
