Warmblood Stallion for Sale in Saratoga Springs, NY

"Orion" is a Hannoverian / Quarterhorse Cross. I have owned him for just over a year. He needed work with ground manners, and I have ridden him three or four times a week, including weekly Dressage lessons, schooling First Level. He has been sound, and is an able learner. He is up to date on de - worming, vaccinations and neg. Coggins. He works beautifully with a natural barefoot trim. He gets along very well with other horses. He has never bitten or kicked anyone while I have owned him. He needs a caring, experienced rider and handler. My reason for selling him is that I am retiring and moving overseas. Pictures or Video of my latest ride is available upon request for seriously interested party.

About Saratoga Springs, NY

This picturesque area was occupied by the Algonquian-speaking Mahican Natives before they were forced out by Dutch and British colonists. The Mahicans eventually moved east, allied with other remnant peoples, and settled near Stockbridge, Massachusetts, where a mission had been established for the native people. There they became known as the Stockbridge Indians. The British built Fort Saratoga in 1691 on the west bank of the Hudson River. Shortly thereafter, British colonists settled the current village of Schuylerville about a mile south; it was known as Saratoga until 1831.
