Thoroughbred Stallion for Sale in Lake Stevens, WA

Chance is an affectionate horse with a great disposition. Nice mover. He is very willing and learns quickly. I have owned him for 2 1 / 2 years and am selling him due to a lack of time. I have been using him primarily as a trail horse and have found him forward going and sensible. Before I purchased him he had briefly raced and had some dressage training. He has been ridden minimally over the past year and would therefore recommend an intermediate rider. Up to date on shots, shoeing and worming. Most importantly I am looking for a good home for Chance.

About Lake Stevens, WA

Lake Stevens was named for territorial governor Isaac Stevens in 1859 and first settled by Americans in 1886, on a 160-acre (0.65 km 2) homestead along the east shore. By 1890 the first town in the area, "Ferry", had been established. Its name was later changed to "Hartford", and it served as the main link from the famed Monte Cristo timber and mining resources to the world. In 1905 a railroad spur was built by the Rucker Brothers Timber Company, linking Hartford with Lake Stevens. Two years later Rucker Mill was opened, located along and in the north cove of the lake (original pilings can still be seen in the old lake outflow area just south of the boat launch).
