Paint Mare for Sale in Spooner, WI
Registered APHA Mare. She is a bay with a star and three socks. She has good confirmation. She was professionally trained to ride. She neck reins some, but mostly direct reins. She can be ridden Bareback, in Western, or in English. She is a fabulous horse, not at all spooky. She stands for the vet and farrier very well. She leads, trots out, ties, loads, trailers and picks up her feet with no problems. She is currently at the top of the pecking order in a herd of three horses one being a mini. Would be a great family horse, adult trail horse or even a lesson or kids horse with supervision. Extensive experience on trails, has been ridden on highways, through town, in arena's. Goes through water, brush, over bridges. etc.
About Spooner, WI
Originally a town in the year 1889, and thereafter officially incorporated a city in the year 1909, Spooner's history is closely interlaced with that of railroad history. In the year 1879, the North Wisconsin Railway was constructed due north of the present-day city of Spooner. Following that, the operations of that railroad were moved south where it then joined the Chicago and Northwestern at what was then coined as Chicago Junction. The community, then initially only a station, was named by the general superintendent for the Chicago and Northwestern, Edwin W. Winter, for John Coit Spooner (1843 - 1919), who at the time was a distinguished railroad attorney from what is now the city of Hudson in St.
