Friesian Mare for Sale in Gadsden, AL
This a beautiful Friesian / TBx filly w / true presence and lots of charm. She will probably mature around 17h. Her full brother is 15. 3h @ 2y. She has lots of mane, tail, and feather. Her maternal line is the TB line and they love the show ring, the only reason her dam wasn't taken to upper level dressage or jumping was because of a tendon laceration as a 4y. o. There are 3 generations on the property and all have great personalities and are very easy to train. Her dam and grandsire have been seen numerous times galloping around the jumping arena and jumping the jumps by themselves! I can email pictures of the filly, dam, sire, full brother, and maternal grandsire to anyone who is interested.

About Gadsden, AL
The first substantial European-American settlement in the area that developed as Gadsden was a village called "Double Springs". It was founded in about 1825 by John Riley, a mixed-race American Indian and European-American settler who built his house near two springs. Riley used his house for a stagecoach stop on the Huntsville-to- Rome route. The original building still stands as the oldest in Gadsden. The house was purchased by brothers Gabriel and Asenath Hughes in 1840.
