Still a yearling and already at an impressive 15. 2 and 825 lbs with a naturally bold trot, you know that Hammer is a horse others will be judged by. Blest with the natural high motion that trainers quest for and a lot of expression, Hammer has the potential to be a great champion. Already having won first place in the 2003 Carolina Futurity Open and then second place in the Carolina Jackpot weanling class, placing just behind the world champion, Silver Harbor. Competing again 2004 Carolina Futurity yearling class, he took second narrowly being beaten out by the reigning champion. Now approaching two years old, Hammer has begun his training and is progressing very well.
