Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in La Grande, OR

Stolen! This horse was stolen July 18 th from La Grande, Oregon. Fanci is a 10 year old, AQHA registered palomino mare. This mare is incredibly broke and very sweet. She could even have been sold as a kid's horse. I am offering a $1, 000 reward for information leading to her safe return. She is a lighter colored palomino with a white blaze. Her most noticeable marking is a scar on her forehead that runs down her face at least an inch and is located in the blaze area. She has stiffness in her hind legs when shoeing. She is a quiet mare and rather laid back. An all around horse. I started this mare myself and she has been with me ever since until she was stolen from her pen. Please help us find her!!!

About La Grande, OR

The Grande Ronde Valley had long been a waypoint along the Oregon Trail. The first permanent settler in the La Grande area was Benjamin Brown in 1861. Not long after, the Leasey family and about twenty others settled there. The settlement was originally named after Ben Brown as Brown's Fort, Brown's Town, or Brownsville. There was already a Brownsville in Linn County, so when the post office was established in 1863, a more distinctive name was needed.
