Pony of the Americas Stallion for Sale in Fremont, MI

Ozzie has been a lesson horse at our stable for many years teaching both children & adults how to ride. He has also been used as a handicapped riding mount. He has limited vision in one eye. He did founder at one time and now must not be allowed to eat grass or rich hay. Must also be kept with shoes & pads on front feet. It is time for him to step down & let the younger horses take over in the school. He has a lot to teach someone who will be his best friend and give him a loving home.

About Fremont, MI

The first inhabitants of the Fremont area were Native Americans. A group of settlers led by Daniel Weaver first settled the area in 1855, the Weaver homestead serving as the first post office and public school. In November 1855, Fremont Township was established and named in honor of John C. Fremont, western explorer and Republican Party candidate for United States President. Weaver and his fellow settlers cleared the dense timber in order to farm.
