Thoroughbred Stallion for Sale in Olney, MD
This horse has such a great personality and wonderful manners. He was a great first horse for me and would be terrific for an adult looking for the first horse or a taller child (he is currently being leased to a 14 year old girl) . He has had professional training for his jumping and has worked with a trainer on his dressage (intro - level) . He goes on trails and is very brave over fences. I just had the vet out and he vetted sound, although he does have a blemished knee, it does not affect his movement at all (that is why he is at a MUCH lower price than expected!) He is for sale right now since I decided to pursue my Western background once again, which is the one thing my 17 h TB just doesn't seem to grasp. But, if you're looking for an all - around good guy to have fun with, go to a couple of shows, enjoy the trails, and possibly do some dressage, he's the right one for you.

About Olney, MD
In 1763, Richard Brooke received a patent for a tract of land located in the Province of Maryland. Originally known as Mechanicsville, the village which became Olney was established in 1800. The area was mostly farmland, but it soon began attracting artisans. Early residents Sarah Brooke and Dr. Charles Farquhar were devotees of the English poet William Cowper, and named their home after the poet's hometown of Olney in England.
