About Brookville, OH
Brookville was platted in 1850, and named for a small brook near the town site. On Memorial Day, 2019, Brookville High School and Terrace Park were both struck by an EF-4 tornado during the 2019 Memorial Day Tornado Outbreak in the Dayton Ohio area. There were no fatalities in the city of Brookville.
