Thoroughbred Mare for Sale in Kansas City, MO
Talye is a delightful mare the color of a burnished copper penny with a blaze and two white socks dotted with ermine (just enough chrome to be eyecatching) . She has provided us with five exceptional foals, always improving the offspring with her excellent conformation. She has an '04 colt by her side ( not included) but is currently open for '05. She is an easy keeper, settles easily, accepts live cover or otherwise, and makes an excellent mother. She has passed on to all her foals: an excellent shoulder and hip, an expressive eye, beautiful head, broad chest, and correct legs - my husband refers to her as the Raquel Welch of the horse world! Don't miss this opportunity to add to your broodmare herd. She has Jockey Club papers and is also AQHA approved. Contact Julie by email for more info.

About Kansas City, MO
Kansas City, Missouri was incorporated as a town on June 1, 1850, and as a city on March 28, 1853. The territory straddling the border between Missouri and Kansas at the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri rivers was considered a good place to build settlements. The Antioch Christian Church, Dr. James Compton House, and Woodneath are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The first documented European visitor to Kansas City was Étienne de Veniard, Sieur de Bourgmont, who was also the first European to explore the lower Missouri River.
