Mustang Mare for Sale in El Sobrante, CA
Spirit - Three - year - old mustang mare dun with dorsal stripe. Has all of the characteristics of a Kiger mustang, but need to obtain her BLM registration to find out for sure. She has been under the saddle for most of last summer, but is a bit rusty. I try to ride her when weather permits and lunge her in a round pen. She ties, bathes and stands still for the ferrier (getting much better with every trimming, especially with the same ferrier) . She has been shod in the past, but probably did'nt even need shoes. She is a sweet horse, but young and needs an experienced rider to finish her training off. She is 15h and has a muscular build, strudy hooves and perfect conformation. Once fully trained her value will double. Currently offering her at $1, 500. (510) 245-3***9. El Sobrante, CA

About El Sobrante, CA
Between 5000 and 1000 BC, an indigenous tribe of people called the Huichin, an Ohlone people, came to the East Bay, including El Sobrante. One of the Huichin villages was located where the El Sobrante Library now stands. The Huichin left a now-buried shell mound beside San Pablo Creek. Between November 1794 and May 1795, the Huichin were forcibly converted to Christianity by Spanish missionaries. After all of the Huichin were removed to Mission San Francisco, they suffered an epidemic of European diseases as well as food shortages, and died in great numbers, resulting in alarming statistics of death and escapes from the missions.
