Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Carlisle, PA
Excellent breeding - granndaughter of Zippo Pine Bar. Would make nice broodmare or riding horse. Excellent prospect for someone with a little time. Pushed too hard as a youngster - just wants someone to love and trust. Very willing on trail. Started on 90 days reining as a two yr old - backs, rollbacks. Owner moved out of state and must sell, sadly not enough time to dedicate to her training. Please only serious inquiries. ~~~~~

About Carlisle, PA
Scots-Irish immigrants farmed the Cumberland Valley beginning in the early 1730s. The town of Carlisle, at the intersection of several Indian trails, was designated by the Pennsylvania assembly and the William Penn family in 1751 as the seat of Cumberland County (named for Cumberland County, England). American pioneer John Armstrong Sr., a surveyor for the Penn family, laid the plan for the town of Carlisle in 1751. He settled there and fathered John Armstrong Jr. in 1758.
