Pinto Stallion for Sale in Port Sanilac, MI
Gus has experience in hunt seat, western, saddle seat, jumping, showmanship, and trail. He jumps 2'6" at shows and I have jumped him 3' at home. He has been shown MSPB & O, BWPHA, EMHA, 4- H, and on a highschool equestrian team. He has been to states for 4- H and the equestrian team. He does have PtHA points in hunter under saddle and disciplined rail western. He loves attention! He stands good for the farrier, loads and trailers, and is getting better at clipping. Needs an intermediate to experienced rider.
About Port Sanilac, MI
This village was originally a lumberjack settlement on the shore of Lake Huron named "Bark Shanty." In the late 1840s and 1850s, the settlement gained its first sawmill, schoolhouse, and general store. In 1854, Bark Shanty's first post office opened. In 1857 the village was renamed to Port Sanilac, as it is in Sanilac Township in Sanilac County. Local legend attributes the name to a Wyandotte Indian Chief named Sanilac.
