Peruvian Paso Stallion for Sale in Stockton, CA
Unfortunately we got some bad news while having Rio vetchecked for someone who was planning on buying him. Rio has Degenerative Suspensory Ligament Desmitis, DSLD, and can never be ridden again. However he can live happily in a pasture keeping someone company as a wonderful companion. His sweet personality and gentle demeanor will make him a great friend for anyone. Unfortunately we don't have any pasture to keep Rio in, and he would be unhappy spending his life in a stall so if we can't find a good home for him we will be forced to put him down. However I know Rio will make a wonderful companion, and if you are looking for a good friend this gorgeous guy is for you. If you'd like to meet Rio give us a call at (209) 476-9***2 and be ready to fall in love with him! ~~~
About Stockton, CA
When Europeans first visited the Stockton area, it was occupied by the Yatchicumne, a branch of the Northern Valley Yokuts Indians. They built their villages on low mounds to keep their homes above regular floods. A Yokuts village named Pasasimas was located on a mound between Edison and Harrison Streets on what is now the Stockton Channel in downtown Stockton. The Siskiyou Trail began in the northern San Joaquin Valley. It was a centuries-old Native American footpath that led through the Sacramento Valley over the Cascades and into present-day Oregon.
