Miniature Mare for Sale in Fort Collins, CO
These girls are sweet, gentle minded etc, the mare has been a broodmare and doesn't know much, but she is halter broke and gentle to handle. Her filly is easy, easy, easy, SWEET little girl! The filly is black with a white tail, and about ten white hairs on her forhead and a white coronet. . The mare is about 37" tall and the filly should mature around that size, the mare is supposed to be bred back, . . I have trimmed feet, bathed, wormed shots etc. . 550 $ for the pair located in Northern Co, I would rate the mare a 3 on the scale and the filly isn't much better, have been feeding them well and they should be back to weight fairly soon
About Fort Collins, CO
Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
