Paso Fino Stallion for Sale in Bristol, VA
Reno de Capitan is a soulful, spirited registered Paso Fino. He never breaks gait under saddle, and will give you a very smooth ride. He is very agile and athletic, can spin on a dime, sidepass, and back up for 10 yards without missing a beat. He is very responsive and light, needing only the most subtle cues. He's got good strong feet, clips, loads and trailers well, and stands for the vet and farrier. He's a very easy keeper, and thrives on pasture. He's not for a novice, but if you are an intermediate rider or above he should do well for you. ~~~

About Bristol, VA
Evan Shelby first appeared in what is now the Bristol area around 1765. In 1766, Shelby moved his family and settled at a place called Big Camp Meet (now Bristol, Tennessee/Virginia). It is said that Cherokee Indians once inhabited the area and the Indian village was named, according to legend, because numerous deer and buffalo met here to feast in the canebrakes. Shelby renamed the site Sapling Grove (which would later be changed to Bristol). In 1774, Shelby erected a fort on a hill overlooking what is now downtown Bristol.
