Paint Mare for Sale in Marshall, TX

"Leah" is a cute black and white filly sire by Badgers Playin Leo who's an APHA reining horse. Her dam is Sparky's Lone Star and her grandsire on the bottom side is Shots Flying Spark an APHA reserve world campion roping horse. Her bloodlines also include Mr. Prospector (JC) . "Leah" is registered as a black and white tobiano. She is halter broke and is a very sweet filly. She would make a great project for someone to raise up and train for themselves. Her owner is away at college and this is why we must sell her.

About Marshall, TX

This area of Texas was developed for cotton plantations. Planters brought slaves with them from other regions or bought them in the domestic slave trade. It had a higher proportion of slaves than other regions of the state, and the wealth of the county depended on slave labor and the cotton market. The city was founded in 1841 as the seat of Harrison County after failed attempts to establish a county seat on the Sabine River. It was incorporated in 1843.
