Appendix Stallion for Sale in Alva, OK

"Tango" is going to be the aspiring barrel racer's dream!! This boy is conformationally perfect for racing, has nice low hocks, and the energy to burn!I am a intermediate rider and can handle him without a problem, but have decided that I'd like a very quiet horse that I can let my kids ride too. "Tango" is registered AQHA appendix, 7 yrs old, stands close to 16 hh tall, and is very well broke. His trainer is the president of the American Barrel Racing Association, and she picked him out personally for me as one that she'd like to train and race. . . but I'm just not into barrel racing. He will win it all with someone who wants to invest a couple months to teach him the pattern! Give me a call and come try him! You won't be disappointed! Guaranteed sound, vet checks welcome, current on all shots / worming.

About Alva, OK

Alva was established in 1893 as a General Land Office for the Cherokee Outlet land run, the largest of the land rushes that settled western and central Oklahoma. The site was chosen for its location on the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway and likely named for a railroad attorney, Alva Adams, who had become governor of Colorado. When the Southern Kansas Railway, began extending its line from Kiowa, Kansas across the Cherokee Outlet in 1886, Alva became the first railroad station southwest of Kiowa. The line was operational in 1887, in time for the opening of the Unassigned Lands. The United States Secretary of the Interior chose Alva as the seat of County M when Oklahoma Territory was organized in 1890.
