Paint Stallion for Sale in Decatur, TX
Leos Doc chief is a flashy registered black tobiano paint horse. He is well mannered and has been ridden. He still needs work. I have ridden him on trail rides and out in the pasture. Would even make excellent kids horse once he is broke well. Quiet disposition. Cheif is very laid back and would really needs to go to a good home. Cheif loves attention. Plus he has high white stalkings with minimal white on the rest of his body. Lightly muscled and an amazing looking horse. I hate to get rid of him but i have no time to finish his training. I will even consider trade for something that is green broke. Will bath and load easily. ~~~~D~~~
About Decatur, TX
Wise County was established in 1856, and Taylorsville (in honor of Zachary Taylor) was made the county seat. Absalom Bishop, an early settler and member of the Texas Legislature, opposed naming the town after a Whig Party member, and in 1858 arranged to have the name changed to Decatur, in honor of naval hero Stephen Decatur. In 1857, a post office was opened, and the first school was established in 1857. In the early 1860s, a courthouse was erected. Early settlers to northern Texas came from a variety of eastern states, and only about half came from the " Deep South".
