Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Sturgeon Bay, WI
Well bred sorrel filly, lighter mane, will mature at 14. 3. She is out of a Bay mare who was shown in WP and Halter. Her sire is a Palomino and is being started in reining. Both her graddams are Grullo. Her sires dam has been rated by AQHA as one of the top 100 bred AQHA mare. She needs more time than I can give her right now. She loves attention and comes when you call her. I would trade for a kid safe horse or large pony. Good home only or she stays put. Price will go up in the spring to 1500. 00. Thanks
About Sturgeon Bay, WI
The area was originally inhabited by the Ho-Chunk and Menominee. The town is known in the Menominee language as Namāēw-Wīhkit, or "bay of the sturgeon". The Menominee ceded this territory to the United States in the 1836 Treaty of the Cedars following years of negotiations with the Ho-Chunk and the U.S. government over how to accommodate the incoming populations of Oneida, Stockbridge-Munsee, and Brothertown peoples who had been removed from New York. After that, the area was available for white settlement.
