Haflinger Stallion for Sale in Plainwell, MI
Yearling Haflinger cross gelding, up to date on everything & has neg. coggins. Halter broke, leads & ties. Imprint trained at birth. Has been bridled & saddled without a problem. He will be one awsome childrens pony. Extremely gentle. Has been handled daily by kids since he was 8 months old. Very layed back, never kicks or bites. This is my baby, so a good loving home is a must! We would like to trade him for a larger pony mare (12 hh & up) . He is going to be too small for our son to ride. Very stocky & well built. He is chestnut with 4 white socks, full blaze & a long, thick flowing flaxen mane & tail. Looks like a Haflinger, not sure what he is crossed with, but we are thinking probably Shetland. Would be a wonderful 4- H pony. Your kids would love him!

About Plainwell, MI
This part of Michigan was settled in the 1830s, after the removal of native people. Allegan County was organized in 1835, and the Plainwell area was settled soon after. It was on a stagecoach route from Kalamazoo to Grand Rapids, and later the Grand Rapids and Indiana Railroad was constructed along the same route. After the advent of the automobile, U.S. Route 131 was created and run through the town.
