Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Tulsa, OK
Princess lives up to her name. She is a sweetheart to be around and loves people. She placed in the top 10 at the Go For The Gold futurity over Labor Day and is eligible to go back next year and make you even more money. Princess has a babydoll head and beautiful neck to go along with her very muscular yet feminine body. Her sire was 2 nd at the GFTG futurity as a weanling in a very large class and has placed in the top 5 at the PHBA world. He is already over 16 hands and is just a 3 year old. She will make a wonderful youth or amateur horse to show at halter and ride later. Has been handled by a 10 year old on several occasions. I have 5 mares foaling this spring and need the barn space, so she must go ASAP!

About Tulsa, OK
The area where Tulsa now exists was considered Indian Territory when it was first formally settled by the Lochapoka and Creek tribes in 1836. They established a small settlement under the Creek Council Oak Tree at the present day intersection of Cheyenne Avenue and 18th Street. This area and this tree reminded Chief Tukabahchi and his small group of the Trail of Tears survivors of the bend in the river and their previous Creek Council Oak Tree back in the Talisi, Alabama area. They named their new settlement Tallasi, meaning "old town" in the Creek language, which later became "Tulsa". The area around Tulsa was also settled by members of the other so-called " Five Civilized Tribes" who had been relocated to Oklahoma from the Southern United States.
