Quarter Horse Stallion for Sale in Sumner, WA
Horse is great. Does all. Not bothered by cars, dogs, etc. Ridden on trails, streets. Previous owner says he used to be roper, arena horse. He is very willing. I don't have time to ride at all. He is spirited and responds quickly. Would not put beginner on without work, When he is not ridden for awhile, he tends to try to get away with things. Usually only takes a ride to get him back. He is sweet. He is getting fat though from just sitting around eating. Current on shoeing and worming. No problems
About Sumner, WA
Sumner was founded in 1853 as Stuck Junction and platted in 1883 by George H. Ryan, in anticipation of a stop on the Northern Pacific Railway. The town was named "Franklin" until 1891, when the Post Office Department requested that the name be changed to avoid confusion with similarly named towns. The name of abolitionist Senator Charles Sumner was chosen for the town after a lottery.
