Paso Fino Stallion for Sale in Kechi, KS
Have you ever seen a horse that hasa a look that goes straight to the heart? That's "Winter" our paso fino gelding. Winter is not registered and rather tall for a paso fino. But he is oh so spectacular. His coat seems to completely change color depending on the light. His gold reflections turn reddish and darker. Winter has been ridden, but needs further training by a very patient person. When I started working with him, there was only misgiving on his side. Once he got to know me, he gave ALL of himself. It will take a little bit of time, but he will make that once - in - a - lifetime horse for the right owner.
About Kechi, KS
Kechi was named for the Kichai people. In 1887, the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska Railway built a branch line north-south from Herington through Kechi to Caldwell. It foreclosed in 1891 and was taken over by Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway, which shut down in 1980 and reorganized as Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas Railroad, merged in 1988 with Missouri Pacific Railroad, merged in 1997 with Union Pacific Railroad. Most locals still refer to this railroad as the "Rock Island". The first post office in Kechi was established in 1888.
