He stands 15.1 ½ hands on the stick and looks like a model. Trevino has been in our program since the beginning of February and has surpassed everything we’ve asked of him. While he doesn’t lay down, shake hands, or talk, Trevino is 110% a family-safe trail horse. We’ve put him through it all—woods, blacktop, traffic, creeks, and the rugged eastern Kentucky mountains—and he has been a pleasure every step of the way. He does have an old field scar (see pics), but there is no raised area or soreness (see vet exam), and he is 100% sound. Just coming 5 years old next month, Trevino would also make a great field trial prospect, as we’ve started him on the basics.
