Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Fort Collins, CO
Raja!
Raja is a 6-year-old, black, Quarter pony who stands at 14 hands and has an absolute heart of gold!💛
This pony has a ton of try, is extremely sweet, is the first one to meet you at the gate, and gets along with all other horses and livestock!
Raja is VERY safe, calm, and sweet for the whole family but versatile enough to be competitive in many disciplines. Raja has a great walk/jog/lope in the arena, will stop off of just your voice, and is light and supple in the bit.
Raja goes English or Western and knows her collection and frame up. She has great tuck and scope over a course and has already jumped up to 2’3 “with room to improve.
Raja would make a very cute 4-H or pony club prospect!
Raja has also been trail ridden all over, up in the mountains, downtown Fort Collins, you name it—she’s seen it.
She is excellent in a group or by herself. She is not herd-bound and will lead or follow. Raja has seen bikes, traffic, town commotion, wildlife, etc.
Raja will cross anything you put in front of her and is not scared of flags/tarps, etc! She loves the water, has crossed rivers and bridges, and we’ve even taken her swimming!
Raja is the absolute perfect size for a small adult or kiddo wanting to get started in their new equine adventure or further their skills and looking for a step-up horse!
Check out Rajas’s video and see this sweet mare!

About Fort Collins, CO
Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
