Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Somerset, KY
“He Walks In the Light” is a 4 year old Tennessee walking Horse buckskin gelding. “Walker” is his barn name and he stands 15.1 hands tall. He is a good strong made horse. Since I have had him here I have put countless trail miles on him. He’s been on rocky steep slopes, through mud and deep waters, over ditches and logs. I’ve also taken him out on the highway where he is safe around all sorts of traffic. I’ve even rode him to town for lunch and he stands tied patiently and quietly while you have lunch. I have used him to check fences and check cow and calf pairs this past winter. He has been taken on week long camping trips and he hauls great and does great tied to the high line. Walker gets along well with the other horses and is gentle, easy and quiet to be around. He has been around hunting dogs and gunfire.
Walker has a nice walk and picks up and gaits nicely as well. He also has a super great canter for a gaited horse. He will pick his leads up and lope around great! Walker has really picked up on neck reining and side passing as well. Walker is a very fun horse to ride. He is very laid back and gentle but at the same time he has enough stamina to go to the mountains and ride all day if that’s what you choose to do. Can arrange shipping anywhere in the US. If you would like to come ride him, I would love to have you. Call to schedule a visit or with any questions.
OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 4/23 @ 4:10 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.

About Somerset, KY
Somerset was first settled in 1798 by Thomas Hansford and received its name from Somerset County, New Jersey, where some of the early settlers had formerly lived. Somerset became the Pulaski County seat in 1802, and it was incorporated as a city in 1887. A significant Civil War battle was fought in January 1862, at Mill Springs (now "Nancy") about 8 miles (13 km) west of Somerset, and a museum is at the site. A smaller battle was fought nearby at Dutton's Hill in 1863. In 1875 tracks for the Southern Railroad were completed and Somerset saw a sudden population growth and an increase in industry.
