Spirit is everything you look for when looking for a steady and strong trail partner! He is easy on the eyes, gentle, smart, and willing to please in every way! Spirit comes with a nice, smooth, natural gait that is easy for anyone to enjoy, but he can step up into a canter if asked and settle right back down into that silky 4-beat gait. He is content to walk all day long on a loose rein or step up if you ask him to. Spirit has served as a wonderful trail mount in every way, riding many, many miles on the trails in multiple states! He’s been coon hunting, deer camped, packed deer, and used as a pack animal. He stands to be tacked, bathed, mounted, and cross-tied. He is easy shod and picks up all four feet whenever asked. We don’t hesitate to throw our babies on him with us and hit the trails. We have ridden him with our dogs, in large groups, around vehicles, and even fired guns from his back.
